Calculating the carbon footprint for a lighting hire company
EARTHED was commissioned by Version 2 Lighting LTD to calculate their 2024/5 carbon footprint essential for the CDP submission and client data requirements.

EARTHED worked with the V2 Lights team to identify the relevant emissions categories for their organisation and to set the organisational boundary for the assessment.
EARTHED and the V2 Lights team went through the data requirements and identified ways to capture and report the data for the caclculation.
With this information EARTHED designed V2 Lights’ specific GHG inventory.

EARTHED calculated the the GHG emissions for V2 Lights aligned with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Reporting Standard reporting on equivalent CO2 emissions from the organisational boundary.

Once the GHG emissions were calculated, EARTHED produced an internally facing GHG summary report for the internal team to understand what the impact of the footprint means.
V2 Lights also received their full GHG inventory with all inclusion and exclusions explained.
