EARTHED works with the PLASA Carbon Reduction Steering Group to launch initiatives and prioritise support assets.

EARTHED has written and designed guidance for members to take to support carbon reduction.

Examples include:

• Launching the PLASA Carbon Reduction Commitment and designing the matrix that sits behind it.

• Designing a Carbon Literacy Project certified PLASA Carbon Literacy Course specific for members and the industry.

• Producing “how to” documents for carbon footprint and carbon reduction plans.

• Curated a webinar series to inform members on sustainability initiatives within the industry.

• Host 1-2-1s and quarterly group knowledge sharing sessions.

• Chairs the LCA Steering Group.

EARTHED represents PLASA in many industry sustainability initiatives bringing the voice of our members to other forums.

This includes speaking at various industry events on topics relevant to the industry sector PLASA represents.

EARTHED was integral to the formation of the Entertainment Industry Technology Alliance (ETIA). ETIA seeks to work collaboratively with other European Trade Associations on the topic of standardisation, particularly for sustainability topics.

EARTHED calculates PLASA’s internal carbon footprint to provide the data for it’s own carbon reduction journey.
